Two South Carolinians to preside at GOP Convention

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – South Carolina will be sending two of its own to the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa at the end of this month. State GOP Chairman Chad Connelly announced Friday that Cindy Costa of Charleston and State Representative Nathan Ballentine of Chapin were recommended along with 11 others to preside over the convention. This comes a couple of weeks after Governor Nikki Haley was announced as one of the speakers during this year‘s convention where presumptive Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney is expected to get the nod to lead his party into this November‘s election.
