Boil Water Advisory for some West Columbia water customers

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The City of West Columbia has issued a boil water advisory for some of its customers. Because of a water main break, water customers from the 100 block of State Street to C Avenue, C Avenue to 9th Street, 9th Street to Jarvis Klapman Boulevard, Jarvis Klapman Boulevard to the Saluda River Bridge, and Sunset Boulevard from Jarvis Klapman Exit to State Street will need to boil their water for at least one minute before drinking or cooking until further notice when water service is restored. Officials also advise customers who are not in the specified area but are experiencing water issues to also boil their water when service is restored.
