Guard at Richland County nightclub shot, killed

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — A security guard at a Richland County nightclub is dead and the man accused of shooting is in the hospital.

WIS-TV reported (bit.ly/Px4DL0) reported that the shooting happened early Sunday morning at Mr. Lucky’s. Deputies say an argument moved outside the club, where the guard was shot and killed. Another security guard shot the suspect several times.

Investigators haven’t released the name of the victim or the suspect, who was taken to Pamletto Health Richland.

Deputies say three people were detained for questioning.
