Technology Chances the Face of Back to School Shopping

(WOLO) Columbia,S.C., — Gone are the days of stocking your child’s book bag with pencils and paper, now that the conventional notebook has been replaced with the computer based one. Schools throughout the midlands are using a lot of this technology to teach kids in the classroom, and parents say they’re seeing the effects on the back to school supply checklist. Items like USB Cords, Headphones and Memory Cards are must have items parent are bending their budget to make sure their kids have. Some parents say they don’t quite understand why students are asked to bring items school systems use to provide to children free of charge. Others say, they understand. For them the lack of funding means parents have to step up to the plate and do a little bit more.
