Man arrested for stealing electronics from a tire store

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – A man is in trouble with the law after being suspected of stealing electronics from an Orangeburg County tire store. The sheriff‘s office says an Orangeburg County Sheriff deputy was pulling over two men in a car just after Midnight Monday. The officer says Ulysses Conner, Jr. and an unidentified man refused to stop. Eventually, both men jumped out, and Conner was arrested. Investigators say Conner and the other man stole $1,500 in electronic equipment. Conner allegedly also broke in back at the end of July, causing $1,000 in damage and stealing $1,450 in electronics.
