UPS Foundation donating $5,000 to Harvest Hope

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Harvest Hope is about to receive another big donation Thursday. The non-profit food bank announced that it will be accepting a $5,000 donation from the UPS Foundation Thursday morning. The organization says the funds will be used for the its Greenville facility. This comes amidst an increase of families visiting Harvest Hope. The food bank says that in June 2012, an average of 325 families visited the Emergency Food Pantries every day and provided food for more than 6,820 families throughout the month, which is an increase of 800 families compared to June 2011.
