5 People Arrested in Suspected Meth Labs

(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C., — Columbia police are investigation the discovery of two meth labs located in two separate hotels. Authorities say they the first tip led them to the Studio Plus Hotel in the 100 block of Stoneridge Drive. Once inside police say they found drug paraphernalia and what appeared to be meth cooking in a plastic bottle. While police were investigating this scene, they were tipped to a second location where another meth lab was also suspected. Officials say they responded to the Extended Stay America Hotel in the 4 hundred block pf Gracern Road and found evidence of a meth lab inside the room shared by a mother and son. Police believe both of these incidents are connected. Cody Hobirk, Krista Sucky Ashley Ellett, Robin Gleaton, and Zachery Howard have all been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.
