South Carolina Sheriff Arrested

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – A South Carolina law enforcement officer finds himself on the wrong side of the law. Charleston County Sheriff James Cannon was charged with assault and battery. His arrest comes after a SLED investigation, which was requested by Cannon’s office.
