COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — After 3 days, the annual Labor Day Festival in Chapin, came to an end. Monday the annual parade started around 9:00 a.m., followed by a children’s carnival, car show and plenty of rides, good fun and fun. “We had to come out to the parade for the first time, Sara Elizabeth had never been to the parade and we wanted to come. She’s enjoying the rides and we are having a good time,” says Holly Wessinger, who brought her daughter, Sara Elizabeth, to the festival. Festival goers had the chance to try pulled pork sandwiches, sausage and onion sandwiches courtesy of Sandra Caughman and her team. She’s been going to the festival for 11 years now. “We have really enjoyed it, it’s a lot of work in it, but we have really enjoyed doing this,” says Caughman. Even the younger helpers, like Kylie Estridge, enjoyed the day by helping her mom at a t-shirt booth. Just as Joelle Davis helped her Mom with preparing snow cones. “I think it’s pretty much fun,” says Davis
