Fewer 9/11 Families On Hand

NEW YORK (AP) — Family members of victims of the 9/11 attacks in New York have gathered again at the World Trade Center site to mark the anniversary but in smaller numbers than in years past. Bagpipes played at the Sept. 11 memorial, which opened a year ago. Family members holding balloons, flowers and photos of their loved ones bowed their heads in silence at 8:46 a.m., the moment the first hijacked jetliner crashed into the north tower, and again to mark the other three crashes from that day.
