Whole Foods Recalls Cheese

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Whole Foods is recalling the Frescolina Brand Ricotta Salata from Forever Cheese because of a deadly outbreak caused by listeria. The cheese was sold to distributors for retailers and restaurants across the country between June 20th and August 9th. Three deaths and 14 hospitalizations in 11 states have been linked to the tainted product according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
