Coroner: Baby Dies From Blunt Force Trauma

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Authorities in Sumter County are investigating the death of a 7-month-old baby. According to Sumter County Coroner Harvin Bullock, the infant was found in a home on September 8. The child died from blunt force trauma to the head, Bullock said. Authorities have not released an identity. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and the Sumter County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
