SC specialty foods groups to hold annual market

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — A group dedicated to promoting specialty foods in South Carolina is holding its second annual meeting.

The SC Specialty Food Association Buyers’ Market is scheduled for Thursday in Columbia.

Organizers say the daylong event gives people a chance to find new seasonings, rubs, sauces, teas and more all in one place.

Buyers will have the opportunity to meet more than 50 food entrepreneurs from around the state and sample their wares. Those in attendance are eligible to win a specialty food gift basket.
