Police: Robber Pulls Gun on Clerk

ELGIN, S.C. (WOLO) – Police are on the lookout for a man show in the attached surveillance photo. Officers say he tried to buy a bag of candy at Dollar General in Elgin last Thursday but pulled a gun on the clerk instead. He was able to remove cash from the register before fleeing on foot toward the Elgin Library. If you know who the man is, you’re asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
