Another Round of Shots Fired in Five Points: Police have possible suspects

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Columbia Police Chief Randy Scott says possible suspects have been identified in connection with an overnight shooting in Five Points. There are no reports of anyone injured or any property damage as a result of the shooting, according to a police spokesperson. Police say the shots were fired shortly after 2 o‘clock Saturday morning at the 2000 block of Greene Street. Close to twenty officers were patrolling Five Points at the time and responded quickly say police. CPD Investigations and regional interviewed several witnesses about the overnight incident and have obtained valuable information. Chief Scott says, “The Columbia Police Department will not tolerate the criminal element in the City. Cameras are everywhere. Police are on foot and mobile patrol. If you have information about this incident, you need to let us know immediately.”
