Man Accused of Burning Children with Hot Metal

Lexington Co., SC (WOLO)– Lexington deputies have arrested a man they say burned two children with hot metal. Investigators say on April 18th Nimesh Patel heated up the handel of a metal cooking utensil and placed against the bare skin of the children. According to deputies he told investigators he did it as a form of discipline for poor behavior. Deputies say the burns caused scarring and disfigurement.
