3 Dead after Volkswagen Wrecks in Chester County

CHESTER, S.C. (AP) _ South Carolina state troopers say three men have died after the car they were in ran off a road in Chester County and hit a tree. Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Billy Elder said the 1999 Volkswagen appeared to be speeding just before noon Monday when the wreck happened. Authorities say debris from the car struck a passing school bus, but no one on the bus was injured. The names of the men who died have not been released.
