Waiting For Tax Refunds

(WOLO) Columbia, SC-Many Americans who filed their income taxes early are still waiting for their refund. There are delays of up to six months for those who claimed education credits on form 8863. the IRS said in February that it needed more time to update its system. In March, the agency said several tax software providers erroneously filed more than 600-thousand returns containing the 8863 form. The IRS did not say how many form 8863 filers still haven’t received their refunds.
