United Way to thank SC workers with lunch event

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — The United Way wants to say “thank you” to state workers in South Carolina with a food truck rodeo.

Organizers say the Wurst Wagen and trucks from Pawleys Mobile Eats and 2Fat2Fly are expected to be at the Statehouse on Friday.

State employees can get $5 coupons for lunch and dessert. The first 250 people in attendance will also get a goody bag full of surprises.
