Columbia man shot to death in Richland County

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — A Columbia man has been found shot to death on a Richland County road.

Coroner Gary Watt said 23-year-old Cedrick L. Blackwell of Columbia was found just before midnight Saturday.

Blackwell was taken to Palmetto Richland hospital where he died early Sunday.

Watts says an autopsy determined Blackwell died from several gunshot wounds.

Authorities say Blackwell lived nearby.

No arrests have been reported.
