SC Woman Stabbed to Death by Boyfriend

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) _ Greenville County deputies say a 59-year-old man is charged with murder after he stabbed his girlfriend during a fight. Authorities said 45-year-old Teresa Valentine was stabbed several times and died around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at a home in Taylors. Investigators called it a domestic violence killing. They did not say what the couple was fighting about. Deputies arrested Richard Ashford and charged him with murder. He is being held in the Greenville County jail and it wasn’t known if he had an attorney.
