Sheriff: Arson Suspect Hospitalized in Ohio

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – It may take authorities a little longer to extradite the man accused of setting a fire that killed his grandparents in Sumter County. Sheriff Anthony Dennis says 20-year-old Joseph Manners remains in the hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio after trying to overdose on medication. He was arrested there Sunday after leading police on a chase. Manners faces one count of arson and two counts of murder. He had reportedly moved from Kentucky and was living with his grandparents for two months before the fire.
