Body found in Charleston Harbor near Fort Sumter

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Emergency crews have found a body floating in Charleston Harbor.

The body was found about 7:45 a.m. Friday off Sullivans Island near Fort Sumter.

Charleston County EMS Director Don Lundy says Sullivans Island rescue workers are waiting for the coroner.

No other details were immediately available.
