Foreclosure Prevention Event to Help Struggling Homeowners
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Distressed homeowners, the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs wants to try and re-build your confidence. It’s holding a Foreclosure Prevention event Friday afternoon from 1pm to 8pm at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. Local residents can sit down one-on-one with banks and discuss their options. No pre-registration is required. These are the forms you need to had on hand: ï‚· Request for Mortgage Assistance Form (Find at MakingHomeAffordable.gov); ï‚· IRS Form 4506T-EZ (Find at MakingHomeAffordable.gov); ï‚· Monthly mortgage statement; ï‚· Information about any other mortgages; ï‚· Two most recent pay stubs; ï‚· If self-employed, the most recent quarterly or year-to-date Profit and Loss Statement; ï‚· Documentation of income from all sources; ï‚· Two most recent bank statements; ï‚· Unemployment insurance letter, if applicable.
