AK Plane Bursts into Flames, SC Passengers On Board

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) – Authorities say nine passengers who died when an air taxi crashed yesterday at a small Alaska airport are believed to have been South Carolina residents who were headed to a fishing lodge. The pilot also died. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
