Suspect Arrested in Sexual Assault

Columbia, SC (WOLO)– Columbia police have arrested a man they say broke into a woman’s home and sexually assaulted her. Investigators say at 5am Tuesday morning Anthony Dervin broke into the victim’s home and assaulted her. Police say he then forced her to drive him to an ATM where witnesses noticed the suspicious activity. The victim then honked her horn several times to get their attention and police say Dervin ran away. According to investigators, Dervin was arrested Tuesday afternoon at Wal-Mart on Bush River Rd.
