Cayce school getting free supplies

CAYCE, S.C. (AP) — A school in Cayce is slated to get a special delivery this week. On Wednesday, a load of new, free school supplies is being delivered to C.A. Taylor Elementary School. Earlier this month, the City of Cayce announced it would provide free school supplies to the school in Lexington School District Two that put the most back-to-school spirit photos and posts on the city’s Facebook and Twitter pages. Organizers say the effort shows the outreach and interaction that residents can have with officials via social media outlets.
