Cops: Woman killed in drug deal in Aiken County

WAGENER, S.C. (AP) âone space€one space” Authorities say a woman has been shot and killed during a drug deal in Aiken County. Deputies say a woman called 911 around 9:45 p.m. Thursday to report her friend had been shot. Authorities say when officers arrived they found 25-year-old Kerry Eck of Lexington inside a car in Wagener with a gunshot to the head. She died about six hours later at the hospital. Investigators say Eck was meeting for a drug deal with 31-year-old Ricordo Williams. Deputies say Williams turned himself in Friday afternoon and is charged with murder. It wasn’t known if he had a lawyer.
