Hospital Helping the Uninsured

(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C., —

State officials are trying to improve lives throughout South Carolina by launching a new program to protect the uninsured chronically ill.

The “Healthy Outcomes Initiative” will kick off in October and will give patients without insurance resources to proper treatment so they can be seen by a doctor instead of using Emergency Room visits as a their only source of primary care.
