Morning News of Florence has new publisher, editor
FLORENCE, S.C. (AP) âone space€one space” The Morning News of Florence has a new publisher and regional editor. Publisher Stephen Wade and Regional Editor Don Kausler Jr., started their new duties this week, the newspaper (http://bit.ly/14GL4KO) reported. Wade comes from Independence, Mo., where he had been a senior group publisher for Gatehouse Media since January 2012. He replaces Mark Blum, who recently was named the publisher of The Press in Atlantic City, N.J. Wade also worked previously in Pittsburg and Topeka in Kansas, as well as in California. Kausler is a former editor of the Anderson Independent-Mail. He replaces Tucker Mitchell, who left earlier this year to take a position at Francis Marion University in Florence. Kausler previously worked in Birmingham, Mobile and Huntsville in Alabama, as well as in Milwaukee and Columbia, Mo.
