Authorities: 4 Adults, 2 Kids Found Dead Inside Home

GREENWOOD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – The Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office says six people are dead in what it’s calling a domestic-related incident.

Around 6pm Tuesday, a man reportedly called saying he needed a deputy because he was thinking of hurting himself. The line then disconnected.

A second call from a neighbor came in. She claimed children from a nearby home on Callison Highway were saying a gun had been fired.

Deputies responded to that address and tried to make contact with someone inside the home. When no one answered, the SWAT team entered. Members say they found four adults and two children dead inside.

The State Law Enforcement Division was notified, and it is now investigating.
