Federal Investigation Focuses On Former SC State Univ. Trustee

  A federal investigation into public corruption is “zeroing in” on a former South Carolina State University trustee.
Today, an unsealed indictment shows prosecutors are pursing dozens of new charges, accusing Jonathan Pinson of racketeering, wire fraud, money laundering and making false statements to investigators.
Pinson was arrested earlier this year for allegedly taking kickbacks.
