COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) âone space€one space” The organization that represents South Carolina’s law officers is getting a new leader. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Association said Monday it had hired Ryan Alphin as its executive director. Alphin has been an investigator with the Strom Law Firm in Columbia since 2004. He takes over for Jarrod Bruder, who joined the S.C. Sheriff’s Association earlier this year as deputy director and plans to become that group’s executive director when Jeff Moore retires next year. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Association has nearly 8,000 members statewide.
