SC man fatally shot while hunting deer

GREENWOOD, S.C. (AP) âone space€one space” Authorities say a 40-year-old Florence man was accidentally killed while hunting deer in Abbeville County. The Index-Journal of Greenwood reports (http://bit.ly/18QezHp ) that Bradford Todd died after being shot in the back around 7 p.m. Friday in the Sumter National Forest. Abbeville County Coroner Ronnie Ashley has ruled Todd’s death an accident. A Department of Natural Resources spokesman says another hunter in a tree stand fired the shot. Capt. Robert McCullough says the shooter called 911 and told authorities the bullet was fired from a .300-caliber hunting rifle.
