USC Greek Village hosts kids for tricks, treats

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Hundreds of ghosts and goblins — who also happen to be kids — are getting a chance to haunt the Greek Village at the University of South Carolina. University spokeswoman Megan Sexton says the school’s Greek Village community is providing a safe environment for treat and treating on Wednesday to children from the university and the Columbia communities. The chapter houses are providing entertainment such as face painting, cake walks, balloon darts and bounce houses to entertain children. The event runs from 5-7 p.m. in the Greek community near the Columbia campus.
