(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C., —
It’s the 111th annual USC Tiger Burn and students, and fans were heated up. many of them say they’re eager to see this weekend’s match up between the two rivals both seated in the top ten.
Until then, members of Gamecock nation spent the evening setting a paper mache model of the Clemson Tiger ablaze. It took mere seconds for the structure to come crumbling down face first, followed by a light show to help people get in the pre-game spirit.
While some danced the night away, others came fully decked out in Gamecock costume. One man with a football turned hat, complete with a flaming tigers attached. Another in full garnet and black face paint.
Regardless of how they should up, fans say they can’t wait for Saturday night when they say Carolina will show out.
“Hey Clemson, Watch out for the thumb because we’re coming for you.”
