Woman’s body found in Saluda River
ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) — Anderson County sheriff’s deputies say the body of a missing Piedmont woman has been found in the Saluda River. Deputies says the body of 23-year-old Anna J. Mosley was found Sunday afternoon just below a dam in the river in Piedmont Lt. Sheila Cole said responded to a missing person report around 2 p.m. Sunday. Cole says before officers arrived, they were flagged down by a man who told them he had found a body in the river. Deputy coroner Don McCown said Mosley’s uncle said she had been missing several days. The body was recovered several hours later by members of the Anderson Technical Rescue Team, the Anderson County dive team, and Pelzer emergency services. An autopsy was planned Monday to determine the cause of death.
