Man shot to death in Lexington County

LEXINGTON, S.C. (AP) — Lexington County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the shooting death of a man in the Dixiana community.

Maj. John Allard says the shooting followed a fight between the men Monday afternoon. Allard says deputies were called to the home around 4 p.m.

The man was taken to Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, where he died. His name has not been released.

Deputies are looking for the suspect.
