Missing K9 Officer Found Dead

Newberry Co. S.C. (WOLO)–A missing K9 officer has died. Investigators with the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office say the German shepherd named Baruk was struck by a car Monday night in the Blacksgate subdivision near Lake Murray and ran into the woods. Deputies say Baruck was found dead Tuesday morning. Deputies say Baruk’s companion dog, Sydney has returned home since the two were reported missing last week.
