Teen shot to death in Summerton

SUMMERTON, S.C. (AP) — Clarendon County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the shooting death of a teen.

WIS-TV reported (http://bit.ly/1duYPvC) that Sheriff Randy Garrett says 18-year-old Shahed Holliday was killed just before midnight Thursday at his uncle’s home near Summerton.

Garrett says Holliday was spending the night at the home when two men he invited into the house shot him. The sheriff says Holliday’s uncle was home at the time of the shooting, but he was not hurt.

Garrett says the State Law Enforcement Division is assisting in the investigation.

No arrests have been made.
