4.1-magnitude earthquake shakes state

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — A tremor felt across the Midlands all the way to Atlanta is lighting up on social media. The US Geological Survey is reporting a 4.1-magnitude earthquake near Edgefield, which is on the western edge of South Carolina near the Georgia border. It had originally reported a 4.4-magnitude earthquake in the initial report. The South Carolina Emergency Management Division contacted Edgefield County Emergency Management and says there were no reports of damage or injuries at the moment. ABC Columbia viewers have been lighting up social media, talking about how they felt the shaking. Some even mentioned pictures moving on the walls.
