Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in Lancaster

LANCASTER, S.C. (AP) _ Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Lancaster. Authorities say officers heard gunshots outside a house about 3 a.m. Wednesday and later found Rondell Thompson dead from a gunshot wound. The shooting happened across the street from Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster. Officers said the hospital was temporarily placed on lockdown. There have been no arrests.
