Rap Lyrics Lead to Murder Arrest
Lexington County, (WOLO)- Rap lyrics lead a Lexington jury to convict a man accused in a 2011 murder. Solicitor Donnie Myers says Gonzalez Wardlaw of Columbia was convicted monday of the murder of Thomas Hoefer at Olive Garden on Harbison Boulevard in December of 2011. Investigators say during their investigation they found the lyrics written by Wardlaw that referenced the shooting. Wardlaw was sentenced to life in prison.
