4 Yr. Old Throws “Welcome Home” Party for Soldier Dad

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — “Daddy’s coming home today,” says Alex Renelt, 4 years old. Alex Renelt was on a mission Tuesday afternoon. “Daddy, huggie, huggie,” says Renelt After a ten month deployment to Afghanistan, the family of Captain Alex Renelt was ready to welcome him home. He was scheduled to travel alone, but ended up having a fellow soldier on the flight with him. Members of the Patriot’s Guard were also on hand to make sure Renelt had a proper homecoming celebration. We’re told they were only given two days notice but made sure to be there.
