Announcement of funeral services for former Lexington Co coroner

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) – We now know when the former Lexington County coroner will be laid to rest. A funeral service for Harry Harman is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22nd at 1:30 PM. It’s taking place at St. Stephen’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. The day prior, family will receive guests at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home. Hours are 5PM-7PM. Harman died Friday at the age of 79. He was a native of Lexington and served as Lexington County coroner for the past 36 years. Harman was re-elected to his most recent term in 2012. You may remember Harman was seriously injured in an accident in February of last year. It led to an extended stay at the hospital. By the way, the cause of Harman’s death has not been released at this time.
