USC Police announce death of own officer

UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA, S.C. (WOLO) – The University of South Carolina Division of Law Enforcement and Safety is mourning the loss of one of its own. Lieutenant Vinny Bocchino has died, but details surrounding his death have not been released. In a Facebook post Sunday, the division said, “This is a tremendous loss to [us] and the university. Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.”
