Barbara Walter’s name attached to ABC News headquarters

NEW YORK, NY (ABC/AP) – ABC News is naming its headquarters in New York in honor of Barbara Walters. On Monday, a plaque was unveiled by the entrance lobby. Walters has called ABC News home since 1976. The 84-year-old is retiring after a storied television reporting career that has spanned five decades. Walters is scheduled to say goodbye as co-host of “The View” on Friday. The network says she’ll remain an executive producer and will make special ab-c- news appearances.. as events warrant.
