Army is air training above Columbia sky

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – You may notice more activity in the sky above Columbia. This week, the Army is conducting training exercises, involving aviation assets. A spokesperson says this training has been fully coordinated with local government and law enforcement officials. She adds extensive safety precautions are in place to protect service members and local citizens. So again, don’t be alarmed if you hear more activity in the sky above Columbia this week.
