Police Investigating Child Death

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The Columbia Police Department is investigating a child death reported at North Pointe Estates. Police were called to the scene around 9:00 a.m. Tuesday in regards to an unresponsive child. Details are limited at this time, but we’re told the child was taken to the hospital where they were later pronounced dead. The Richland County Coroner’s Office is also investigating.
