Carolina Collapses At Kentucky

The Kentucky Wildcats scored 21 unanswered points to beat the South Carolina Gamecocks 45-38. After a Mike Davis 26-yard touchdown run gave South Carolina a 38-24 lead with 12 minutes to go in the game, the Gamecocks looked to have the game wrapped up. Instead the Gamecocks were unable to stop Kentucky’s Jojo Kemp and the Kentucky wildcat formation. Kemp would lead 47 and 75-yard touchdown drives to tie the game up at 38 all, both capped of by short touchdown runs. South Carolina would elect to pass on the ensuing drive which would lead to a Dylan Thompson pick-six to help Kentucky capture the lead and the win. Mike Davis finished with 23 carries, 180 yards (career high) and 3 TDs on the night. Dylan Thompson threw 3 interceptions on the night. Jojo Kemp finished with 17 carries, 131 yards, and 3 TDs of his own.
